John & Yoko

I recently watched the documentary Imagine: John Lennon. The best thing about the film is that it is mostly composed of archived footage of John and Yoko. They filmed themselves a lot.

Coincidently, I saw this neat print a few days after I watched the documentary. I really like John and Yoko together. I love how much they loved each other. And that they were such dirty hippies.

I miss the Beatles.

Do you ever miss things that you never had in the first place? Because I do.

Way cooler than a liger

Do you need a new favorite animal?

This is a makara. It shows up a lot on south Indian temples. A makara is essentially the perfect animal. See, it has the paws of a lion so that it can tread silently on its clawed and padded feet, the body of a pig allows it to eat any food, an elephant trunk for strength, the jaw of a crocodile which never releases prey from its sharp teeth, sharp monkey eyes, and alert cow ears. But, that is not all. It also has a peacock's tail. For beauty, obviously.

All the coolest kids have one.

Amedeo Modigliani

I am in love with his paintings today.
I want to climb inside them.

I think the first two are my favorite.
