I recently watched the documentary Imagine: John Lennon. The best thing about the film is that it is mostly composed of archived footage of John and Yoko. They filmed themselves a lot.
Coincidently, I saw this neat print a few days after I watched the documentary. I really like John and Yoko together. I love how much they loved each other. And that they were such dirty hippies.
I miss the Beatles.

ReplyDeleteSo many people despise Yoko, but I think that John was never truly happy until she came along. He worshiped that woman, adored her. When they are pictured together, the love and connection between them is almost visible, like a crazy force field. She may be maligned as the destroyer of the Beatles, but I love how fiercely they loved one another. And yes, their unadulterated dirty hippie-ish-ness is charming :)
